Show your love for Alberta’s forests

Even though logging operations have begun in the Castle, it’s not too late to stop the cutting. The Alberta Government can still halt the operation and save the Castle from further destruction.

And the Castle isn’t the only place in Southern Alberta that is being impacted by inappropriate forest management. Several areas in Kananaskis are also slated to be logged soon.

On Valentine’s Day, we are going to show our love for our forests with rallies in Edmonton and Calgary.

With a provincial election on the horizon, your voice can have an impact. That's why we're holding rallies tomorrow,  Tuesday, February 14 from 12:00 to 1:00pm. In Edmonton, the rally will be on the front steps of the legislature (10800-97 Ave.). In Calgary, the rally will be at the McDougall Centre (455-6 St. SW).

Please come out on Tuesday at noon to show your love for our forests. You'll even have a chance to send a valentine to the Premier and your MLA!
