Take the Challenge - Win Cake!

Protecting wilderness is a piece of cake

Take the Challenge - It's a piece of Cake!

CPAWS Northern Alberta's new Executive Director, Katherine Thompson, is challenging all wilderness lovers to help us recruit 100 new Wilderness Protection Club members by October 31, 2009, and 500 new members by Christmas. Please join us . For as little as the cost of a piece of cake you can help protect Alberta’s Wilderness and Wildlife.

What is the Wilderness Protection Club? (WPC)

Over 1,200 Wilderness Protection Club members support CPAWS conservation every month of the year. The WPC is an automated monthly giving program that directly supports CPAWS conservation projects. Giving small, monthly gifts of $5, $10, $20 or any amount you choose is a simple, affordable way to protect wilderness all year round. Funds raised will support urgent conservation work -- like our campaign to create up to 50% new protected wilderness in the Lower Athabasca Region: home to pristine forest and endangered caribou.

Why Join?

  • It's easy - no regular cheque-writing or monthly stamps!
  • It's more cost-effective – lower administrative costs means more of your money goes to wilderness protection.
