Wood Bison Amigurumi Crochet Pattern Designed & Developed by Sir Purl Grey

Learn to make your own Bison Crochet Animal
Graciously developed by Phillip Ha (the creative behind Sir Purl Grey), we are pleased to reveal a wood bison crochet pattern!
We’ve been going back and forth with Phillip over the summer and perfecting the pattern so that you too, can make your own. Not only is it adorable, it is also fairly accurate to the live Bison bison athabascae.
The release of the pattern comes just in time for the holidays and a very timely announcement from the Government of Alberta: wood bison in northern Alberta now have ‘wildlife’ status. To read the latest on the status of bison Alberta: read here.

The Biggest Coal Risk to Date: New Coal Policy Direction in Opposition to Albertans' Values
Government of Alberta MUST develop a coal policy that protects Albertans and our Future
Over the past five years, Albertans have been loud and clear that they oppose ANY new coal exploration or mining in Alberta’s Rocky Mountains and Eastern Slopes. Tens of thousands came together for a collective, concerted push against the Government of Alberta's recission of the 1976 Coal Policy and the subsequent mine exploration, which was successful in forcing the province to implement a moratorium in 2022.
