Help Protect Alberta's Caribou
Alberta has an obligation under the Species at Risk Act to support caribou survival and previously agreed to help recover caribou populations through the development of sub-regional plans.
Unfortunately, the Government of Alberta has proceeded with sub-regional plans that will destroy remaining critical habitats and threaten the survival of several caribou herds. Caribou need intact, undisturbed, and mature forests to reach self-sustaining levels.
Urge the Government of Alberta to include a credible path to caribou recovery in all sub-regional plans. Send a letter to your elected representatives letting them know that YOU want woodland caribou in your future!

Coal is a bad neighbour and a bad investment.
Whether it’s the coal dust, soil erosion, water pollution, closed access to public lands, or the particulate matter entering our air, soil and water, Albertans across the political spectrum agree: Coal makes for a bad neighbour. It also makes for a bad investment — the economics simply don’t add up.
Over the past five years, Albertans have been loud and clear that they oppose ANY new coal exploration or mining in Alberta’s Rocky Mountains and Eastern Slopes, yet the government continues to push its coal agenda forward. Send a letter now asking for a coal policy that reflects the will of Albertans and prevents any new destructive coal mining.

Make Your Voice Heard: A Simple Guide to Calling Your Elected Representative
Advocating for environmental protection and climate action is crucial, but many people hesitate to reach out to their elected representatives because they feel they need to be experts. The truth is, you don’t have to be an expert to tell your MLA, MP, City Councillor, or relevant minister that you care about an issue. Your voice matters and making a quick phone call can be surprisingly effective.

Repeal the All-Season Resorts Act: Protect Alberta's Parks and Public Lands
Last December, the Government of Alberta passed Bill 35, turning the All-Season Resorts Act (ASRA) into legislation and exposing our parks to delisting and our public land to privatization. This was profoundly undemocratic and unethical, and we did not agree to it. Alberta’s parks, protected areas, and public lands belong to ALL of us. Full stop. Send your letter today demanding the Act to be repealed.
