Third of three (3/3) River Valley Walks
The North Saskatchewan River Valley could become Alberta’s first Urban National Park! Join the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society chapter of Northern Alberta in exploring Edmonton’s diverse urban parks this summer.
We’ll be exploring the Indigenous Art Park, then looping through Queen Elizabeth and Nellie McClung Park. What used to be an outdoor pool in Queen Elizabeth built in 1922 now serves as an acessible green space in the river valley connecting the North and South of Edmonton.
Make sure to come wearing good footwear for hiking on trails, a water-bottle, and pack an extra layer incase of light rain or wind.
Weather permitting, we will meet in the Kinsmen Sports Centre NE corner of the parking lot, near the John Walter Museum (9180 Walterdale Hill NW) at 6:30pm.
Ticket Price: $0
